Applying on-line: After submitting the on-line application form, download Certificate of Authenticity Form. Print it. Then, you need to prepare

an audition tape if you are not auditioning live. Send the audition tape

accompanied with the proper application fee.

Applying by paper: Request a catalog.

Fill out the application form. Mail or fax the application form. Mail

the audition tape (if not auditioning live) and the certificate of

authenticity form signed by you and a witness accompanied with the

proper application fee.

*All forms may be copied freely. You need parent's or guardian's permission to apply if you are under 18.

How do I make an audition tape? Practice

the scales and arpeggios or vocalization as specified. Record them on

tape in front of a witness. Then, record the first piece of your choice.

If the piece is longer than 5 minutes, perform just a part of the piece

that shows your maximum musicianship. Record the second piece. Sign the Certificate of Authenticity Form and have the witness sign as well.

How many people will receive full scholarship? Full

scholarship will be given to about 70% of participants based mainly on

talent. Priority is given to foreign participants who will be travelling

a great distance at a high cost. Full scholarship does not include

travel expenses, non-refundable deposit, registration fee, housing, and

meals.

Will I get a full scholarship? You will not know until you tried it. You may be offered a half scholarship or a partial scholarship.

I am in a chamber group, Can a chamber group participate in the festival? Yes.

Indicate in the application that you represent a chamber group. You

will get coaching sessions and play in concerts. You may submit existing

recordings and other supporting materials or prepare an audition tape

by recording the whole group.
